We prepare exterior masonry by power washing to remove dirt and loose material, repairing cracks and defects, and applying a stabilising primer on powdery or friable surfaces before painting. We use weather-resistant masonry paint that allows the wall to breathe while shedding water, applied in two coats for full coverage. Exterior painting requires dry weather — we'll schedule around the forecast and keep you updated.

Woodwork Painting — Skirting, Doors & Frames
Freshly painted woodwork sharpens up a room like nothing else. We paint skirting boards, door frames, window sills, dado rails, and architraves in your choice of satin or gloss finish. Preparation involves sanding to key the surface, filling dents and scratches, treating any knots with knotting solution to prevent bleed-through, and priming bare wood where the old paint has been taken back. We cut in cleanly at the wall and floor edges — no paint on the carpet.

Wallpaper Hanging
Wallpaper adds texture, pattern, and warmth that paint alone can't achieve. We hang all types of wallpaper — paste-the-wall, paste-the-paper, and peel-and-stick — with precise pattern matching across seams, around corners, and over windows and doors. Wall preparation is critical: we size the wall to control absorption (so the paste doesn't dry too fast), and for tricky surfaces we may apply a lining paper first to create a perfectly smooth base. We also strip old wallpaper as part of the job, using steam strippers for stubborn layers.

Feature Wall & Accent Painting

We use HVLP (high volume, low pressure) spray equipment to apply a glass-smooth finish to kitchen doors, drawer fronts, and cabinet frames — with no brush marks. We paint or stain fence panels, sheds, summerhouses, pergolas, and other garden structures using weather-protective treatments that soak into the wood rather than sitting on the surface. A standard 4m × 4m room takes 1–2 days — including prep (fill, sand), ceiling, walls, and woodwork. Larger rooms or dark-to-light colour changes may need an extra day.
We'll move furniture to the centre of the room and cover with dust sheets. For full-house jobs, we recommend clearing as much as possible. We're happy to help move larger items.
We work with all major brands — Dulux Trade, Crown Trade, Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, and more. We'll recommend the right paint for each surface and can colour-match to any brand.
We strongly recommend removing wallpaper first for the best finish. Painting over wallpaper can cause bubbling and peeling. We can strip it as part of the prep.
Water-based paints are touch-dry in 1–2 hours and fully cured in 24 hours. Oil-based paints take longer — up to 6 hours touch-dry and 48 hours for full cure. We'll advise when you can move furniture back.
